Tula-Russia (KBI Import), Model: SKS-45, Cal: 7.62x39mm, MFG: 1955, S/N: CO 4247 (RH028682 Import S/N), Semi-auto rifle, 20 1/2'' barrel.
CONDITION: The cheeked, aftermarket pistol grip black polymer stock is excellent with light cosmetic scuffs & scratches. Forend & pistol grip are checkered. The blued metal finish rates 92% overall with light scratches & spots of wear. Lacquer on the rear of the gas tube, just in front of the upper handguard. More concentrated thinning/wear on the top of the receiver cover. The left side of the receiver is marked with a triangle proof, the S/N, & the import markings. The top of the receiver cover has a arrow in star Tula logo over ''1955r''. The rear of the barrel is marked ''37'' along with other small proofs. The right side of the receiver has two faded proof marks. Top of the bolt carrier marked with two small proofs. S/N matching magazine, trigger guard, receiver cover, bolt & bolt carrier. S/N electro penciled on the bottom of the gas tube, this is how it was done in the factory. The bore is excellent. Its bright & mirrorlike with little to no visible wear. Has a chrome lined bore, this was introduced in 1952 & would be used onward. The barrel holds a post front sight with protective globe, & a tangent U-notch rear sight with a battle zero & 1 to 10 markings. The stock carries a rubber recoil pad. Rifle has a rear sling stud, & the original left side front sling mount. Rifle missing the cleaning rod & bayonet, bayonet lug is still intact. The rifle appears to be in full functional order.
