UNIQUE SET, Colt, Frontier Six Shooter, CAL: 44-40, MFG: 1892, SN: 147667, Single Action Revolver, 4 3/4'' barrel. The top of the barrel has the standard two line address stamp. The left side of the barrel is marked ''COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER''. The left side of the frame is marked with the standard patent dates & a circled Rampant Colt logo. All matching SN's on the frame, trigger guard & butt. The authentic Stag grips are excellent. The blued metal finish has fully worn to metal gray, with areas of pitting & chatter marks throughout. Bore is good, consistently rough, with light pitting & thinned rifling. Integral v-notch rear sight & blade front sight. Mechanical operation appears to function properly. This revolver is accompanied by an unmarked leather ammo belt, that holds a late 1800's - early 1900's Tom Flynn tooled holster, marked ''T.FLYNN MAKER PUEBLO COLO'' & a tooled leather knife sheath marked ''K.A COLEMAN MAKER HALSEY, OR''. The knife sheath holds an Original Bowie Knife, with bone handle, marked ''OTHELLO SOLINGEN GERMANY'' on the left side & ''ANTON WINGEN JR SOLINGEN GERMANY'', on the right. Due to their .44-40 W.C.F. chambering, these revolvers could be easily paired with a Winchester Model 1873, allowing their user to be capable at most ranges and in any situation, while only carrying one type of ammunition.
