UNIQUE SET, Colt, Frontier Six Shooter, CAL: 44-40, MFG: 1903, SN: 249498, Single Action Revolver, 7 1/2'' barrel. The top of the barrel is marked with a single line address stamp. The left side of the barrel is marked ''COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER''. The left side of the frame is marked with the standard two line patent date & a circled Rampant Colt logo. All matching SN on the frame, trigger guard & butt. The blued metal finish on the barrel & ejector rod housing rates 10% & the trigger guard has remnants of blue in heavily protected areas. The cylinder has original blue in the flutes. The case-hardened frame has remnants of case-colors in heavily protected areas. Bore is very good & bright, with thin rifling & intermittent roughness near the muzzle. Integral v-notch rear sight & blade front sight. Mechanical operation appears to function properly, action is crisp & tight. This revolver is accompanied by an unmarked leather ammo belt that holds a Montgomery & Ward Horse and Rider tooled single loop holster & a unmarked double loop knife sheath with woven edges. The sheath holds an Original Bowie Knife with 6'' blade, marked ''IMCO IMPLEMENT CO GERMANY'' on the right side & ''SOLINGEN/53'' on the right side. Another unique set.
