UNIQUE SET, Colt, 1877 ''Lightning'', CAL: 38, MFG: 1904, SN: 154683, Double Action Revolver, 6'' barrel. The top of the barrel is marked with the standard two line address stamp. The left side of the barrel is marked ''COLT. D.A 38''. The left side of the frame is marked with the standard three line patent dates & the circled Rampant Colt logo. All matching SN on the bottom of the frame, trigger guard & butt. The blued metal finish on the barrel, cylinder & trigger guard has almost fully worn to metal gray & toned to a brown patina, with remnants of blue on the ejector rod housing & in protected areas. The case-hardened frame has fully worn to metal gray & toned to a brown patina, with spotting throughout. Bore is fair, somewhat bright, but with consistent roughness & light pitting. Integral v-notch rear sight & large blade front sight. Mechanical operation appears to have some internal parts issue. When pulling the trigger (double action) the revolver appears to function properly, but when attempting to pull back the hammer (single action), the hammer & trigger get stuck every few rotations of the cylinder. We recommend this firearm be inspected by a licensed gunsmith before use. This revolver is accompanied by an unmarked leather ammo belt, with loops for .38 call ammo. The belt holds a Utah Game Warden Badge, Salt Lake County #60 late, an 1800's - early 1900's W.R Thompson tooled single loop holster. The front of the holster is marked '' ''W.R THOMPSON/ MAKER/RIFLE, COLO''., and a double loop leather knife sheath, marked ''K.A. COLEMAN/MAKER/HALSEY, OR''. The sheath carries a fixed blade with wood handle, marked ''STEWARTS HAND BLADE''. Blade condition is good, with some pitting & spotting & wear from sharpening. Another unique set with accoutrements. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 2000 to 4000
