UNIQUE SET, Colt, 1877 ''Lightning'', CAL: 38, MFG: 1904, SN: 154445, Double Action Revolver, 4 1/2'' barrel. The top of the barrel is marked with the standard two line address stamp. The left side of the barrel is marked ''COLT D.A. 38''. The left side of the frame is marked with the standard three line patent dates & a circled Rampant Colt logo. All matching SN on the bottom of the frame, trigger guard & butt. The Rampant Colt checkered hard rubber grips are very good & solid. There are minor scuffs, scrapes & the checkering is worn smooth on the crease of both grips. The original blued finish on the barrel, trigger guard & cylinder has worn to a mix of metal gray & brown patina, with original blue remaining in protected areas. The case-hardened frame has fully worn to metal gray & toned to a brown patina, with some remnants of case-color shadowing. Bore is good & bright, with intermittent roughness & speckling. Integral v-notch rear sight & blade front sight. Mechanical operation appears to function properly. There is a small amount of play in the cylinder when the hammer is both, down & fully cocked. This revolver is accompanied by a 1900's F.L. Perkins tooled ammo belt, marked ''F.L. PERKINS'' (Perkins had a dry goods store in Portland, OR). The belt holds a late 1800's - early 1900's Cameron & Sweney tooled double looped holster, marked ''CAMERON & SWENEY GRANDJUNCTION COLO'', a brown leather sap, a pair of S&W handcuffs with keys, a Multnomah County Deputy Sheriff #4 badge & an unmarked knife sheath that carries a 4'' fixed blade knife, marked ''IMPERIAL'', with a bone handle. Blade condition is good, with intermittent cleaned pitting. Another unique set, with accoutrements. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 2000 to 4000
