Colt, New Army/Navy DA41 M1901, CAL: .41, MFG: 1901, SN: 148261, Double Action Revolver. 6'' barrel. The synthetic aftermarket grips are in poor condition, the grip screw seems to be stripped out, the right grip panel is severely chipped and cracked, the left grip panel is severely chipped. The original bluing rates 79% and has substantial rust specking and several areas that have worn to a mix of gun metal grey and rust, most notably on the right hand side of the frame in front of the cylinder. Bore is fair, rifling has darkened with even roughness and some pitting. Mechanically fair, there seems to be cosmoline covering the inner workings of the revolver that is causing the action to be stiff. There seems to be a mechanical issue with the hammer and trigger, when the trigger is pulled it fails to reset all the way until you rotate the cylinder slightly. The cylinder has some side to side and back and forth play. This gun will need some cleaning and/or gunsmithing for it to function properly. Front blade sight integral to the barrel, rear sight trough is cut into the top of the frame. SOLD AS IS, NO RETURNS. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 600
