Description

Smith & Wesson, Model 1 1/2 First Issue Tip Up ''Old Model'', CAL: 32 RF, MFG: 1865-68, SN: 21672, Single Action Revolver. 3 1/2'' barrel. The wood grips are in very good condition with some handling wear. The finish has worn to a mix of gun metal grey and original blue with some areas toned to a brown patina. Bore is fair, the rifling is thin and dark with some roughness and pitting. Mechanically solid, the cylinder has very little side to side and hardly any back and forth play, the cylinder locks up pretty tight when the hammer is cocked. Rudimentary sights, front blade sight is integral to the barrel, rear sight notch is cut into the hammer. Antique, no FFL Req. - Value: 300 to 600
