CASED Smith & Wesson, No. 2 Old Army Tip Up, CAL: 32 RF, MFG: 1861-74, SN: 3315, Single Action Revolver. 5'' barrel. The wood grips are in good condition with some handling wear. The right grip appears to have been cracked or broken at some point and repaired with some kind of wood glue (there is a hole with visible glue on the bottom of the right grip panels indicating this). There are seven notches (possibly kill notches) on the back of the left grip panel and frame. The finish has worn and toned to a mostly gun metal grey with some thin brown patina. Bore is fair, the rifling is thin and dark with roughness and pitting. Mechanically solid, the cylinder does have some side to side and back and forth play. Rudimentary sights, front blade sight is integral to the barrel, rear sight plate is screwed to the plate. Comes in a wood case lined with black fabric. Antique, no FFL Req - Value: 600 to 1300
