Smith & Wesson, 38 Safety Hammerless Fourth Model, CAL: 38 S&W, MFG: 1898-1907 SN: 259780, Double Action Revolver. 4'' barrel. The checkered hard rubber grips are in excellent condition with slight handling wear. The blued finish rates 98% with light handling wear. The case hardening on the trigger is excellent. Bore is very good, the rifling bright and crisp but thin. Mechanically solid, the cylinder has very little side to side and back and forth play. Rudimentary sights, front blade sight is integral to the barrel, rear sight is integral to the barrel latch. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 200 to 400
