Smith & Wesson, Model 36, CAL: 38 SPL. MFG: Modern. SN: 7J848, Double Action Revolver. 1 7/8'' barrel. The checkered wood grips with S&W medallion are in good condition with some handling wear and dings, the right grip panel is chipped near the top where it meets the frame. Part of the grips have been stained black by the retention strap of the leather holster. The factory blued finish rates 99% with very light handling wear. The case hardening on the trigger and hammer is excellent. Bore is excellent. Mechanically solid, the cylinder has very little side to side & back & forth play, the hammer & trigger mechanism functions very well. Rudimentary sights, serrated front ramp sight is integral to the barrel, rear sight trough is cut into the frame. Comes in a generic black leather holster. FFL Req. - Value: 400 to 800
