BOXED Smith & Wesson, Model 53, CAL: 22 JET/22LR. MFG: 1961. SN: K462168, Double Action Revolver. 5 7/8 barrel. The factory checkered wood grips with S&W medallions are in excellent condition with very light handling wear. The factory blued finish rates 98% with very light handling wear and a small ding on the right side of the barrel. Bore is excellent. Mechanically solid, the cylinder has very little side to side & back & forth play. Blacked out target sights, serrated front ramp sight is integral to the barrel, windage and elevation adjustable rear sight is screwed to the top of the frame. Comes in a Smith and Wesson model 53 cardboard box (Not serially matching) with a full set of 22 LR sleeves for the 22 JET cylinder and a dedicated 22 LR cylinder.
