Ruger, Blackhawk, CAL: 44 MAG. MFG: 1956 (first year of production). SN: 238, Single Action Revolver. 6 1/2'' barrel. The factory checkered synthetic grips with Ruger medallions are in excellent condition with light handling wear. The bluing rates 98% with some handling wear. There are some dings and scratches on the front and backstraps of the grip frame as well as the trigger guard. The frame and loading gate have toned to an even plumb patina. Bore is excellent. Mechanically solid, the cylinder has some side to side & back & forth play. Blacked out target sights, serrated front ramp sight is integral to the barrel, windage and elevation adjustable rear sight is pinned into a cut on the top of the frame.
