J. Stevens A&T Co., Model 43 Diamond Second Issue, CAL: 22 LR, MFG: 1896-1916. SN: 29806, Single Shot, 10'' barrel. The wood grips are in good condition with some handling wear, and dings, as well as light edge chipping. The bottom front corner is chipped on the right grip. The bluing on the barrel has worn thin and toned to a brown patina with some original blue and exposed gun metal grey. Bore is fair, the rifling is defined but thin and dark with even roughness and some pitting. Mechanically poor, the hammer will not lock in the cocked or half cocked position. Requires some gunsmithing before use, do not load! Aperture sights, rear aperture sight and front post sight are set in dovetail cuts on the barrel. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 600
