J. Stevens & Co., Single Shot Pistol ''Old Model Pocket Pistol'', CAL: 22(probably short), MFG: 1886-96. SN: 11072, Single Shot, 3 1/2'' barrel. The wood grips are in very good, near excellent, condition with some handling wear, and minor dings on the bottom of the grips. The gun metal grey finish on the barrel, hammer, trigger, and screws is very good. There is some minor pitting on the barrel. Bore is poor, the rifling very thin and dark with even roughness and substantial pitting. Mechanically solid, the hammer and trigger mechanism seems to work well and the barrel lock up is solid. The extractor mechanism is entirely missing but the gun would function without it for the most part. Rudimentary sights, rear sight notch is cut into the hammer, the front blade sight is integral to the barrel. Antique, no FFL Req. - Value: 250 to 500
