Davidson (London), Top-Hat Pistol, CAL: 47 Cal, MFG: Circa 1825. SN: No Visible Serial Number, Turn Off Cap And Ball Pistol, 1 1/2'' barrel. The gun has checkered wood grips with a silver (possibly silver plated) engraved butt plate and name plate reading ''W. M. Jackson''. The grips are in excellent condition and are slightly darkened with some handling wear. The finish has toned to a dark brown patina. There are scroll engravings all around the gun that are intact and beautiful, the hammer is engraved to look like a fish. There are British proof marks on the frame and barrel. Bore is fair, dark with even roughness. Mechanically solid, seems to function well. Antique, no FFL Req. - Value: 500 to 1000
