Waffen Fabrik Obern Dorf, C96 Mauser, CAL: 7.63x25, MFG: 1905, SN: 820858, Semi Auto Pistol. 5 1/8 barrel. The wood grips are good, solid & intact, with substantial handling wear. The frame & slide are worn mostly gun metal gray with even cleaned pitting. Bore is poor, with no visible rifling & consistent roughness. Rear sight is adjustable out to 1,000 yards, blade front sight is integral to the barrel. Mechanically rates poor, as it appears to fire ok, but trigger often needs manual assistance to reset. Also, the safety will sometimes be overpowered by the hammer & hammer pushes through the safety catch &drops fully on the firing pin. This gun needs some gunsmithing to function properly & is therefore being sold ''AS-IS'', with NO RETURNS. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 1200
