Japanese, WW2, Type 94 Shin-Gunto with Ray skin wrapped scabbard, both sides of tang signed, brass, copper, & steel handwear, cloth wrapped ray skin grip with ornamental embellishments under the cloth wrap, wood grip has some cracks around the hole for the tang, blade has light speckled rust & patina, edge has some chips & dings, has a visible temper line, Blade has no fuller, sheath has lots of scuff/rub wear at the bottom exposing the wood underneath, endcap where the sword goes into the sheath comes off, the screw holes in the sheath have been ripped/worn out. Grade: Very Good + - Value: 500 to 1500
