US, W.H. Horstmann & Sons, Naval Marine Officers sword, 1815-1820. Brass handle with spotty patina. Both sides of the blade is acid etched with intricate floral designs, American eagles, ''US'', & other American imagery, the right side of the blade is etched ''W.H.'', ''HORSTMANN'', ''& SONS'', ''PHILADELPHIA''. The spine of the blade is etched ''IRON PROOF''. The blade has a light speckling of dark patina. The blade is slightly loose in the grip, appears the tang that goes through the grip wasn't properly peened over to lock it into the grip,. Grade: Very Good + - Value: 100 to 200

A.) If you signed up and asked us to bill your credit card & ship all items ASAP then that is what we will do. No further notice will be sent.
