EXTREMELY RARE Set of Original engraved Remington Hepburn Indian Ink Pulls by Famous firearms engraver Louis Daniel Nimschke. At one point, Nimschke's personal album containing the original ink pulls from many of his engraved masterpieces was owned by Cody Firearms Museum curator Herb Houze. In recognition to renowned author, firearms historian & long time President of the Remington Society, Roy Marcot, Houze removed these two original Remington Hepburn ink pulls & gifted them to Roy. Images of these same two pulls are found in R.L. Wilson's book L.D. Nimschke Firearms Engraver. Original Nimscke ink pulls are extremely rare in public circulation or private collection, as his albums of the majority of original pulls now reside in museums. Framed, 14 1/2'' x 8 1/2'', with personal hand written letter from Herb Houze to Roy Marcot found on the rear side. Grade: Excellent+ - Value: 500 to 1500
