Winchester, Model 1873 Saddle Ring Carbine, 3rd Variation, .32 WCF Cal., MFG: 1893, SN: 460588B, Lever Action Carbine, 20'' Round barrel, Full mag. The original wood stocks are very good & solid, having been sanded long ago & with added oils or stains. The metal sits proud to the metal along the tangs, receiver & buttplate. The wood has a darkened reddish brown appearance, with several minor to small scratches, gouges, contusions & darkened oil staining to the wood & finish. There is a 1.5'' horizontal crack along the right side of the wrist & a 2'' crack at the forend. The metal has worn mostly gun metal gray, with remnants to original blue finish in the most protected areas & the base developing a very thin brown patina. The barrel is fitted with a flip-up ladder rear sight, with strong snap & a box carbine front sight. Bore is excellent. Metal carbine buttplate. Original saddle ring. Tight smooth action. A very nice shooter & a desirable antique Model 1873 SRC in the rarer 32 WCF. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 2500 to 3500
