Winchester Model 1873, 3rd Variation, 32 WCF CAL., MFG: 1883, SN: 124091A, Lever Action Rifle, 24 1/4'' Round barrel, Full Mag. The original wood stocks are excellent & solid. The stocks have several minor scratches, scrapes & contusions to the very nice original finish on the stock. The forearm appears to have been cleaned some time ago, but not sanded, as it is a shade lighter than the receiver. The original metal blue finish has worn & faded to where there remains approximately 20% in the more protected areas of the receiver barrel & mag, with the balance worn gun metal gray & a thin brown patina. Some very muted outlines of case-colors remain on the case-hardened lever & hammer. Bore is excellent & bright. The receiver is fitted with a vernier large aperture flip-up tang sight, while the barrel carries the original adjustable rear & flip-up globe front sights. Buttstock carries a crescent metal buttplate. Plain trigger. A very nice & sharp appearing antique 1873 rifle. Antique, NO FFL Req. - Value: 2750 to 3500
