EXCELLENT Winchester, Model 1892 TAKE-DOWN, CAL: 25-20 W.C.F., MFG: 1912, SN: 667430, Lever Action Rifle, 24 1/4'' Round Barrel, Full Mag. The original straight grip wood stocks are excellent, with several tiny to minor contusions & light scratches to the excellent original finish. The original metal blue finish on the barrel rates 90%, 85% on the mag tube & 45% on the receiver, with loss due to areas of ''Winchester flaking'' on sides & carry wear on the belly. Muted case-colors & shadow outlines on the case-hardened lever & hammer. Bore is very good. The rifle is fitted with a Lyman flip-up large aperture disk tang sight, while the barrel holds the original adjustable rear sight & pinched blade front sight. Buttstock carries the original crescent metal buttplate. This is a very sharp looking & all original collectible take-down rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 3500 to 4500
