Winchester Model 1895, CAL: marked 30 U.S MOD. 1903, MFG: 1909, SN: 67061, Lever Action Rifle, 24'' barrel. The factory straight grip woods stocks are excellent. The finish is excellent, with several minor to small handling marks, scratches & contusions to the original finish. There is a couple of steaks of light oil staining on the right side of stock. Ebony tip on the schnabel forend. The original metal blue finish rates 50% on the barrel, while the receiver has worn mostly gun metal gray, with a thin brown patina & remnants of original blue remaining on mag. Matted bridge of receiver. Case-colors found on hammer. Bore is excellent. Barrel holds the original adjustable rear & the orginal ''W.F. Sheard 30 W Rimless'' marked front blade sight. Buttstock carries a crescent metal buttplate. Sling eyelets in stock & forend. A very nice original & collectible example. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 1500 to 2500
