Savage, Model 99, CAL: 250-3000, MFG: 1949, SN: 520029, Lever Action Rifle, 24'' Tapered round barrel. The original checkered & capped pistol grip wood stocks excellent. There are a few minor scratches & contusions remaining to the excellent original finish. The original metal blue finish on the barrel rates 95%, 90% on the receiver, toning plum. The case-hardened lever retains very nice case-colors. Bore is excellent & bright. The receiver is mounted with a Bausch & Lomb Baltur 2 1/2 scope on Bausch & Lomb mounts, while the barrel carries an adjustable rear & the original ramp elevated blade front sight. The stock carries the original grooved metal buttplate. A very nice original example. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 800 to 1200
