Marlin, Model 1895 G Guide Carbine, CAL: 45-70 GOV'T, MFG: 1998-2007, SN: 99064215, Lever Action Rifle, 18 1/4'' Round barrel, 2/3rds mag. Pre-Ilion production. The original checkered straight grip wood stocks are excellent, with a few minor handling marks or contusions. The wood's original finish shows moisture spotting on the back portion of the stock. The is a tight 3'' stress crack on the left side of the forend. Checkering is excellent. The original metal satin gray finish rates 98% overall, but has speckling, spotting & areas of light pitting. Bore is excellent & bright. Factory porting of the barrel. The barrel has an adjustable rear & a ramped hooded blade front sights. Stock carries a Marlin ventilated recoil pad. Sling studs. Marlind bullseye trademark in belly of the stock. A very nice modern lever Marlin. FFL Req. - Value: 800 to 1200
