Winchester, Model 70 Classic Super Grade Boss, CAL: 300 WIN MAG, MFG: Mid 1995-97, SN: G138109, Bolt Action Rifle, 26 1/2'' Round tapered barrel, including Boss system. The Ballistic Optimizing System (BOSS) was introduced on the Model 70 in 1995, & featured on the ''Classic'' action, which was a return to the pre-1964 action design. The factory deluxe walnut wood stock has the Super Grade raised cheek piece, hand checkering, metal pistol cap & ebony forend tip. The stock carries the original finish, with a few very handling marks to the original finish, The stock exhibits fantastic rippled grain. The original metal blue finishes rate 98% overall. Bore is excellent & bright. The receiver carries a Tasco World Classic Plus 3.5X-10X50 scope on Redfield blocks & engraved rings. The barrel carries no open sight provisions. SN matching jeweled bolt. Buttstock carries a solid rubber recoil pad. Sling provisions. An overall fantastic & collectible Super Grade model 70 in the Boss system. FFL Req. - Value: 1500 to 2000
