BOXED Winchester, Model 70 Classic Featherweight, CAL: Marked 7MM-08 REM, MFG. Mid 1990's, SN: G183365, 22'' Round tapered barrel. This model has the favored pre-64 style action. The factory checkered & capped pistol grip wood stock is excellent, with virtually no handling marks to the excellent factory finish. Some light smoothing of the checkering from handling & use. Lovely grain. The original metal blue finishes rate 99% overall, with the blue on the receiver starting to tone a bit plum as it ages. Bore is excellent & bright. The receiver has four factory screw filled hole for scope mounting, while the barrel has no provisions for open sights. The stock carries the original Winchester solid rubber recoil pad. Sling studs. Jeweled bolt with matching SN. Trigger guard carries two original hang tags. Comes with the original factory box, with original paperwork. An excellent model 70 Classic Featherweight.
