Remington, Model 700, CAL: 222 REM, MFG: Modern, SN: C6502245, Bolt Action Rifle, 24'' round barrel, The tan & brown laminated, cheeked & capped pistol grip Monte Carlo wood stock is excellent. The original metal blue rates 98% overall, with the finish on the bolt handle toning plum & some addition scratch wear on trigger guard. Bore is excellent. The receiver holds a Nikon Monarch 6-24x50mm Long Range scope, with sun shade, a Wheeler Level & lens cap, held by Weaver rings on a 7'' Weaver picatinny rail. No open sight provisions. Customized lightweight trigger job. Trigger pull is extremely light, so much so, that if safety is not set first, once bolt is opened it often fires upon hard closure or reopening of bolt. For safety reasons, we recommend the rifle see a gunsmith for restoration to standard functionality & trigger pull. Jeweled bolt. Buttstock carries a Remington solid recoil pad. Sling studs.
