Sporterized Rifle, Built from a Brescia Arms Factory Italy, M1891 Carcano, Cal: 6.5x52mm Carcano, MFG: 1898, S/N: C2309, Bolt action rifle, 17'' barrel. The aftermarket cheeked & capped pistol grip Monte Carlo walnut stock is very good, with various superficial nicks, dings, & scratches that have been smoothed from handling over time. The metal does have some spots of thinned blue remaining, but has mostly toned to a mix of brown patina & gun metal gray. The receiver band is marked with some thinned proofs. The Chamber flats are marked with two proofs & the S/N on the left, ''BRESCIA'' on the top, & ''1898'' on the right. Small worn proof on the left side to the rear of the trigger guard. A number has been scratched into the left side of the magazine. The bore is very good & bright, but has light roughness in the grooves amongst strong rifling. The barrel holds a brass beaded front & a Williams U-notch sliding rear replaced sights. The stock carries a Fajen grooved black plastic buttplate. The stock has a lower sling stud & a forward sling swivel. Mechanical function appears to be solid. Antique, No FFL Req - Value: 150 to 300
