Winchester, Model 1902 (Later Variation), CAL: 22 S. L, & ExL., MFG: 1902-31, SN: NSN, Bolt Action Rifle, 18'' barrel. Later variation with the plastic buttplate & in .22 Short, Long & Ex Long. The original straight grip wood stock is very good, with a couple of glued stress crack to the wood on each side of below the receiver. There are several minor scrapes, scratches & contusions to the very good original finish. The original metal blue finish has worn mostly gun metal gray, with a spotty thin brown patina developing. Bore is fair, with lots of cleaned pitting & scarring amongst visible rifling. The barrel holds a fixed rear & blade front sights. Stock carries a Winchester plastic buttplate, with engraved screws. Serpentine trigger guard. A second variation that presents very well. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 400
