Winchester, Model 58, CAL: 22 S,L,LR, MFG: 1928-31, SN: NONE, Bolt Action Rifle, 18'' barrel. This is a fairly rare rifle as only 38,992 were produced during the four years of production. The straight grip gum wood stock is excellent, with a number of minor contusions or scrapes the very good original finish. The metal blue finish rates 85%, with loss due to density loss. Trigger guard shows more loss & is toning to a brown patina. Bore is excellent & bright. The barrel carries the factory fixed sights. Produced without a buttplate. A well above average as typically found. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 600
