Remington, Model 581 LEFT HANDED, 22 S. L. LR, MFG: 1978, SN: 1263001, Bolt Action Mag Fed Rifle, 24'' round barrel. Grooved receiver. The original flat pistol grip stock is excellent, with few handling marks to the excellent original finish. The finish does have faint vertical thin stretch cracks from the wood expanding seasonally, but the finish not able to likewise stretch. Not distracting. The original metal blue finish rates 99% overall. Bore is excellent. Fitted with standard open sights. The stock carries the original buttplate. Detachable mag.
