Remington, Model 1894 A Grade, CAL: 12 GA, MFG: 1894-95, Antique, SN: 102935, Break Action SxS Shotgun, 30'' Damascus barrels. The original checkered round knob wood stocks are good & solid. There are multiple small cracks & edge chips, alongside contusions, dings, gouges & scrapes. The original finish has had protective oils added over time contributing to darkening. The fingerprint Damascus pattern on the barrels is prominent, fully toned to a chocolate brown patina, with consistent rust spotting & speckling. The original nickeled receiver has mostly worn to a brown patina, with remnants of nickel remaining in heavily protected areas. Bores are good, with roughness & intermittent pitting. The solid, matted rib holds a front bead. Stock carries a worn RA checkered buttplate. Double triggers. Front trigger doesn't function. The bottom rear collar of the forend hits the bottom receiver plate which makes an audible click when opening. This shotgun needs to be inspected by a licensed gunsmith before use.
