Chinese, Model: Type 56 SKS, Cal: 7.62x39mm, MFG: 1960s-90s, S/N: 8900674, Semi-auto rifle, 20 '' barrel.
CONDITION: The Choate Tool, semi-pistol grip black polymer stock is very good. Stock has light stains, scuffs & use wear. Metal ''cheese grater'' upper handguard. The receiver has been re-blued & rates 94% with light scratches & light thinning. The Barrel retains the original finish & rates 90% with scratches, & light thinning. The left side of the receiver is marked with the S/N. rear of the barrel is marked with a couple proofs. The right end of the barrel is marked with import stamps. All visible S/N marked parts are matching. The bore is excellent, bright & mirror like with little to no visible wear. Chrome lined bore. The barrel holds a post front sight with a round hood protector. The barrel mounted rear sight has been removed (just the leaf gone, the base, flat spring, & pin are still there) & has been replaced with a Tech Sights, receiver mounted aperture sight. The stock carries a ventilated rubber buttpad. Bayonet lug has been removed. Factory fixed 10 Rd. mag. Comes with a black nylon sling. Mechanical function appears solid. FFL Req. - Value: 350 to 700
