UNIQUE SET, Colt, SAA ''Colt Frontier Six Shooter'', CAL: 44-40, MFG: 1899, SN: 184521, Single Action Revolver, 4 3/4'' barrel. The authentic stag grips are excellent, solid with minimal wear. The majority of the original factory blue has toned to a chocolate patina while retaining nearly full coverage. There is some original blue in protected areas, most notably in the corners of the trigger guard, as well as some relatively intact blue covering approximately 1/3 of the barrel. The edges & muzzle of the gun have worn & show gun metal gray. The bore is fair, the rifling is thin & dark with even roughness & some pitting throughout. The gun has a u-notch rear sight & blade front sight. Mechanically solid, seems to function well for the most part. The action seems to have five clicks rather than the standard four, the extra click is just past the fourth. The action feels very tight for its age & seems to function properly. This revolver is accompanied by a James Brown Belt with brass name plate that reads ''James Roberts. Austin N.T.'' for Nevada Territory, this territory existed from March 2, 1861 until Oct. 31, 1864. A G.S. Garcia Double Loop Holster Marked Elko, NV. For 4 3/4'' to 5'' Colt Revolver is mounted to the belt. The G.S. Garcia Leathershop was open 1893-1938. The belt also holds a leather sheath with a R.J. Richter knife that is marked as Made in England with ''Original Bowie Knife'' marked on the blade. The knife holds a 6'' blade, with stag grip panels pinned to the tang. The handle of the knife is in excellent condition with the knife being in very good, near excellent, condition overall. The metal has slight haze & speckled surface rust that would likely clean up nicely. A unique set, with accoutrements. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 2000 to 4000
