Colt, Army Special, CAL: 32-20 WCF, MFG: 1919, SN: 440572, DA/SA Revolver, 6'' Barrel. The checkered ''Colt Wood'' (multicolor plastic) grips with Rampant Colt logo are excellent with minimal wear. These grips went into production far after this gun was made & are not original to the gun, the grip screw is non-factory & is slightly too long. The metal holds the factory blue finish. The blue on the gun rates approximately 40% with consistent handling wear & use wear. The front strap & backstrap of the grip have worn to gun metal grey with a thin layer of brown patina. Some of the thinned blue has begun to tone to a brown patina. The factory markings are relatively crisp. Bore is very good, near excellent, the rifling is strong & bright with very light roughness throughout. Mechanically solid, seems to function well. A fixed front sight is integral to the barrel, a rear sight notch is cut into the frame. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 600
