Colt, Army Special, CAL: 32-20 WCF, MFG: 1924, SN: 505149, DA/SA Revolver, 6'' Barrel. The faux stag grips are fair, they have two substantial cracks. There is a large crack on the left grip panel that runs vertically down the majority of the grip. There is a horizontal crack on the bottom of the right grip that runs about half way across the grip. The metal holds the factory blue finish. The blue on the barrel rates approximately 30% the sides of the barrel being worn down to gun metal gray with speckled shallow pitting. The frame rates approximately 60% with substantial handling wear as well as what appears to be some kind of chemical erosion causing the surface of the metal to flake & peel away. The factory markings are relatively crisp & all legible. Bore is good to very good, the rifling is strong & bright with very light roughness throughout & a couple of small spots of deep pitting throughout. Mechanically solid, seems to function well. A fixed front sight is integral to the barrel, a rear sight notch is cut into the frame. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 600
