BOXED Colt, Python, CAL: 357 MAG, MFG: 1968, SN: 81688, DA/SA Revolver, 6'' Barrel. The factory checkered wood grips with Rampant Colt medallions are excellent with sharp checkering & light handling wear. The metal holds the factory blued finish. The finish rates approximately 98% with slight thinning on the barrel near the muzzle & a drag line on the cylinder. The factory markings are all crisp. Bore is excellent, bright with strong rifling. Mechanically very solid, seems to function well. The barrel holds a serrated ramp front sight & a windage & elevation adjustable rear sight. Comes in a period correct factory colt box with a matching serial number hand written on the bottom. Inside the box is a test target, a colt multi tool, & a New Jersey permit to purchase the firearm as a new gun dated May 1, 1968. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 2000 to 4000
