BOXED Smith & Wesson, Model 36, CAL: 38 SPL, MFG: 1962-69, SN: 719649, DA/SA Revolver, 2'' Barrel. The factory checkered wood grips with ''S&W'' medallions are excellent, solid with slightly worn checkering. The metal holds the factory blued finish. The finish on the barrel & cylinder rates approximately 80% with wear including a drag line & some wear near the muzzle. The cylinder has speckled patina that appears to have thinned from cleaning leaving behind a speckled gun metal gray look. The blue on the frame rates approximately 80% with some exposed gun metal grey & patina on the top of the frame & the front strap & backstrap of the grip. All of the standard markings around the gun are crisp. Bore is excellent, bright with strong rifling. Mechanically solid, seems to function well. The barrel holds a serrated fixed front ramp sight. A rear sight notch is cut into the top of the frame. The sight picture is all black. Comes in the serially matching factory box with an owners manual, a Bianchi leather holster, & wax paper. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 600
