J. Stevens A&T Co., No. 43 ''Diamond'', CAL: 22 LR, MFG: 1896-1916, SN: 61678, Single Shot Tip Up Pistol, 9 3/4'' Barrel. The wood grips are very good, near excellent, solid with light wear. The nickeled finish on the frame is very good, near excellent, with light wear. The blue on the barrel has thinned slightly & toned to a brown patina with some exposed gun metal grey near the muzzle & small remainders of original blue in protected areas. Bore is poor, dark with thin rifling & deep pitting throughout. Mechanically solid, seems to function well. The barrel holds a fixed front sight. A rear sight is set on the top of the frame.
