J. Stevens & Co., Model 34 Hunters Pet, CAL: 38 RF, MFG: 1872-87, SN: 76, Single Shot Tip Up Rifle, 18 1/8'' Barrel. The wood grips are excellent, solid with light wear. The nickeled finish on the frame is very good with light wear & some flaking. The blue on the octagonal barrel has thinned on the edges exposing gun metal gray. The blue has toned to a mix of brown patina & original blue with some thinning. Bore is fair to good, slightly thinned & darkened with light even roughness throughout & some splotches of shallow pitting. Mechanically solid, seems to function well. The barrel holds a hooded fixed front sight & a flip up rear sight. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 1200
