Belgian LeFaucheux Civil War Era Revolver, CAL: 12mm PinFire, MFG: 1858-73, SN: 700, Double Action Revolver, 6 1/8'' barrel. The cylinder is marked with Leige ''ELG in Crown'' proof & ''Crown/N''. The SN can be seen on the right side of the frame. The revolver is tastefully hand engraved with ornamental & punch dot work. The original Ebony grips are very good & solid. The bottom rear corner of the right grip has an edge chip. The original blued finish has mostly worn to metal gray & toned to a thin brown patina, with remnants in heavily protected areas. Bore is good & bright, with intermittent pitting & roughness. Fixed rear sight & small beaded blade front sight. Lanyard loop. A nice example of a Belgian LeFaucheux revolver. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 1000 to 3000
