Description

Unknown Maker, Colonial & Revolutionary War Era Flintlock Pistol, CAL: .677, MFG: Circa 1800, SN: None, Flintlock Pistol, 9 7/8'' Barrel. The wood grip/forend is good, solid with edge wear, dings & scratches throughout. The brass on the gun is tarnished with dings throughout. The iron has toned to a chocolate patina with even, clean, shallow pitting throughout. Bore is poor, dark with substantial pitting throughout. Mechanically fair, seems to function well for the most part. The hammer will not lock into the half cocked position & there appears to be a ball loaded into the gun without powder behind it. A front blade sight is integral to the barrel band. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 400 to 800
