BOXED Colt, MK IV Series 70 Government Model 1911, CAL: 45 ACP, MFG: 1976, SN: 13838G70, Single Action Semi Auto Pistol, 5'' Barrel. The factory checkered wood grips with Colt medallions are in excellent condition. The original blued finish on the sides of the slide and frame rates approximately 99% with minimal wear. The matte finish on the gun is excellent with minimal wear. Bore is excellent, bright with strong rifling. Mechanically solid, seems to function well. The parts fitment is good with play in the frame and slide one would expect from a factory Colt 1911 of this era, this gun seems to be very lightly used and is an excellent example of a Colt from the 70's. The slide holds fixed all black front and rear sights. Comes in the serially matched factory box with the plastic gun sleeve, a magazine and some related paperwork. FFL Req. - Value: 1000 to 1600
