BOXED The High Standard MFG. Co., Model E, CAL: 22LR, MFG: 1937., SN: 35508, Semi Auto Pistol, 6 3/4'' Barrel. The checkered wood grips with thumb rest are in excellent condition with minimal wear. The gun seems to have been reblued professionally, the blue seems to have been done well & rates approximately 99%. Bore is very good, near excellent, bright with strong rifling & light even roughness throughout. Mechanically solid, seems to function well. The barrel holds a fixed all black front sight & a black windage & elevation adjustable rear sight. Comes in a correct High standard Model E box with a wooden divider holding a screw driver, & oil tin, & two cleaning brushes. The box has wax paper & a couple of target shooting related pamphlets from the 1940's. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 1200
