DWM, P08 Luger, CAL: 9mm, MFG: 1917, SN: 3536 n, Semi Auto Pistol, 4'' Barrel. The checkered wood grips are good to very good, they seem to be fully intact with the left grip panel having a bit of play. The checkering has worn smooth in several areas on both panels while still having enough checkering on the majority of the grip to visually appear checkered but not add much in the way of ergonomic improvement. The metal holds what appears to be a re-blued finish. The blue on the gun rates approximately 98%. The finish has light handling wear & edge wear. The markings on the gun have thinned, likely from being buffed in the re-blue process. The serial number on the barrel is 3915. The frame has the serial number 3536. Several small parts on the slide & frame have parts numbers of 36 & 15. Bore is very good, the rifling is strong & the bore is slightly darkened with light even roughness throughout. Mechanically solid, seems to function well. Fixed all black sights, the rear sight is integral to the toggle & the front sight is set in a dovetail cut on the barrel. No magazine.
