Remington, Model 11 ''The Sportsman'', CAL: 12 GA, MFG: 1941, SN: 440178, Semi-Auto Shotgun, 2+1 shot capacity. 2 3/4, Choke: MOD, 30'' No-rib barrel. The left side of the receiver displays a roll stamp engraving of a flying mallard in a pond setting & the right side displays a pheasant in a grassy area. The orignal checkered & flat pistol grip wood stocks are excellent, displaying some minor finish level scrapes, scuffs & contusions to the original finish. The metal blue finish rates 95% overall. Bore is excellent. The barrel is fitted with a silver bead. Buttstock carries a Remington, black plastic buttplate. Lower tang has an open set-screw hole. LOP: 14''. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 300 to 600
