Winchester, Model 57 Target, .22 LONG R. Cal., MFG: 1927-36, SN: 28682, Bolt Action Rifle, Mag fed, 22'' barrel, with barrel band. The original flat pistol grip wood stock is very good & solid. It carries an added layer of finish over the original finish, with minor handling marks, scratches & contusions. The original metal blue finish rates 90% on the barrel, 80% on the receiver, with additional loss on the barrel band & trigger guard which are toning to a brown patina. Bore is excellent. Military style target rifle, with correct Lyman peep sight, factory sling swivels & ''Winchester'' stamped mag. Barrel fitted with a standard blade front & folding leaf rear sights. Stock carries a checkered steel buttplate. A nice condition rifle & still very collectible. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 400 to 800
