Winchester, Model 1892, marked 25-20 WCF, MFG: 1908, SN: 470187, Lever Action Rifle, 24 1/4'' Octagon Barrel, Full mag. The original wood stocks are excellent, with several minor handling marks, scuffs or contusions. There is one larger line ding on the right wrist of the stock The original finish is very good with some thinning at the carry points of the wrist & forend. The original factory blue finish rates 90% on barrel & mag, 80% on receiver, with areas of thinning toning to a plum patina. Bore is very good, with some spotting of roughness amongst strong rifling. Barrel fitted with factory adjustable rear & standard front sights. Metal crescent buttplate. Tight smooth action. An attractive & collectible all original condition 1892.
