Nagoya Arsenal, Model: Type 99, Cal: 7.7x58mm, MFG: 1939-1945, S/N: 64976, 5th series, Bolt Action Rifle. 25 1/2'' Barrel. The semi pistol grip wood stock is very good with small nicks, dings, scratches, & wear from use/age, stock retains nice original color, small chip in top of finger groove of right side of stock, 2'' tight repaired crack on right side of stock by bolt handle. The metal finish rates 85% overall with rust speckling in spots & light scratches. Left side of receiver is marked with S/N, arsenal stamp, top of receiver is marked with a RARE intact chrysanthemum & ''Type 99'' In Japanese, S/N MATCHED bolt. Bore is very good Near excellent, bright & shiny with little to no wear. Barleycorn front sight, Aperture Ladder rear sight marked 3 to 15, Has folding anti-aircraft sight wings & are marked 2 to 3. Metal Butt plate with wear & brown patina. Side sling swivels, has cleaning rod. Comes with a rare monopod. a nice example of a vet bring back Type 99. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 600
